What We Found Inside the Ducts
The first clue was on the wall: a supply register with dust streaking out across the paint around it. Behind it, the supply plenum had a floor of packed gray dust, and the flex duct runs were coated along the spiral ribbing where dust anchors and keeps re-feeding the airflow. None of this shows from inside the rooms — it just keeps cycling through the system every time the blower runs.
